East Lake Academy celebrates growing in grace and harmony.  The eleventh annual fundraising event offers East Lake Academy families and their esteemed guests an exclusive opportunity to visit "Place de la Musique" in Barrington Hills.  Don’t miss your chance to tour The Sanfillipo Estate, known worldwide for its magnificent collections of beautifully restored antique music machines, phonographs, arcade and gambling machines, chandeliers, art glass, theatre pipe organ, and more.  Your guests will be honored that you invited them to such a prestigious event.

Sanfilippo Estate
The Sanfilippo Estate is a 44,000-square-foot private residence and
30,000-square-foot pavilion filled with magnificent collections of
beautifully restored antique music machines, chandeliers, art glass, the
world's largest restored theater pipe organ, the most spectacular European
Salon Carousel in existence, street and clock towers, steam engines and
other functional mechanical antiques. The primary motive behind this
collection is the preservation and sharing of the experience of these
marvelous inventions of the Western World.

Nicknamed "The Place de la Musique," the estate contains the largest
collection of restored automatic music instrument in the world, including
over 400 music boxes and phonographs, approximately 65 coin-operated
pianos, violin machine and photoplayers, 60+ large American and European
orchestrions, 25 dance organs, fairground and band organs and calliopes,
and an 8,000-pipe theater organ. Restoration of these instruments is an
on-going effort accomplished by experts across the U.S. and abroad. 

Our event begins at 5:00 p.m. with Residence Tours of the Sanfilippo collections.

Gala Transportation Services

New this year!  We have negotiated limousine rates with a local provider if you wish to travel in the safety and comfort of a private limousine. VIP of Chicago Limousine Service is offering the following rates for the East Lake Academy gala:

  • 1 to 4 passengers $60 each way ($30 - $120 per person)
  • 6 passenger $75 each way ($25 per person)
  • 8 passenger $95 each way  ($23.75 per person)

These special rates (standard rates start at $90 each way) are based on point to point travel in a private car (sedan or stretch) and do not include gratuity, vehicle upgrades (e.g. Hummer) or wait time during the event.  Travelers who wish to “hold” a car at the gala may incur additional cost. 

Call (847) 299-9000 to confirm your reservation; be sure to mention East Lake Academy to receive the preferred rates. To guarantee your vehicle of choice, please reserve two weeks in advance.

For those who will be arriving in your own vehicles,  please use the valet service to park your vehicle. Valet services are sponsored by Lindemann Chimney Service.  

The evening shuttle services are made available by WDT Technology Solutions.  You will travel via shuttle to the Sanfilippo residence for the tour then back to the carousel house for cocktails, auction bidding and dinner.
